THE PRODUCTION PROCESS
OF PREFABRICATED ROOF CONSTRUCTION
STEP
1
Setting up computer-aided project and
preparing production documentation.

STEP
2
Drying of timber to 18-22% of moisture.
STEP
3
Cutting out the construction components by means of cross cut revolving
saw.

• Cross cut revolving saws cut the components according
to production documentation (so-called “cutting list” generated by TrussCon
program).
The blade of the saw is located
automatically at the right angle. Some types of saws have a function
of sloping blade.
STEP
4
Impregnating the cut truss components by dipping in FIRESTOP.
STEP
5
Connecting the components with nail plates by means of press.

Connection of the truss components into
one unit by means of pressing in joints of nail plates is made
on the basis of the documentation by RoofCon/TrussCon program.

Specified connector
plates are positioned in the places, precisely determined in production
documentation (nails to inside). Then, such prepared joints are fastened
with C-press head. Tables-truss shape members ensure precision and objective
measurements of the trusses.
After producing a set of trusses, it
is delivered on the building construction site at fixed term
STEP
6
Assembly of all the construction components into one unit- on the building.

The assembly is based on the
plan made by the program. Depending on the weight of trusses, the height
of buildings and available transport, the construction is completed
manually or by means of crane. The typical wooden roof construction
on the detached house is completed within 1 day.
